Mississippi Scholarships for High School and College Students

The Jimmy Rane Foundation was established with the purpose of sending deserving students to college. Since then, the Foundation has awarded 680 scholarships to well-deserving students. These hard-working and outstanding students have taken these scholarships all over the country to institutions including: Auburn, Alabama, University of Pennsylvania, Harvard, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Indiana, Troy, Duke, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Georgia and many more. The LMCA will award a $1,500 scholarship to one student each year to promote and encourage academic pursuits relating to medical and veterinary entomology. Undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university in the state of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma or Texas are eligible for this award. The award is named after Dr. Lamar Meek, who for many years worked to strengthen the LMCA and educate both students and the community about medical and forensic entomology.  He was a splendid educator and accomplished researcher at LSU. To be eligible for the Arctic Chiropractic "Got a Spine Scholarship" a student must:1) Be attending college or university no later than October of 2025.2) Be attending college or university on a full-time basis by October of 2025.3) Have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or greater during their last academic year.4) Be a U.S. or Canadian resident.5) Be attending a school in the U.S. or Canada by October of 2025.6) Submit answers to the essay questions no later than 11:59 PM EST on the day of the deadline.*Note that you can be enrolled in any field of study.

To be considered eligible for the Odenza Vacations College Scholarship you must:1) Be between the ages of 17 and 24 on September 1st, 2025.2) Submit an answer to the essay question, which can be found on the application page, prior to the May 1st, 2025 deadline.3) Have a GPA of 2.5 or greater.4) Be a resident of the United States or Canada.The scholarship winner will be announced roughly 6 weeks after the deadline and will be posted on this website immediately after. All applications must be received by 11:59 pm ET on the day of the deadline. No late applications...
