Overview
The 2025 Regions Riding Forward Scholarship is organized as four distinct Quarterly Contests — one covering each calendar quarter of 2025. In each Quarterly Contest, Regions will award four scholarships of $8,000 each.
How to enter: To be considered for an $8,000 scholarship, submit either a video or a written essay describing a person you know personally (who resides in your community) who has inspired you and helped you gain the confidence needed to pursue your goals.
Eligibility
For the purposes of this contest:
- Eligible States: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
- “Accredited college” means a nonprofit two- or four-year undergraduate college or university located in any of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia.
To enter and be eligible to win a Quarterly Contest award, at the time you submit your entry you must:
- Be a legal U.S. resident of one of the Eligible States listed above.
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Have at least one (1) year remaining before you complete your undergraduate degree (or the equivalent of at least 18 semester hours left).
- If you are not yet enrolled in college, plan to start your freshman year no later than the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year.
- Have, as of your most recent enrollment period, a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0 (or, if your school does not report a GPA, be in “good standing” or an equivalent status).
