Selfless Act of Giving Mississippi Scholarship

Scholarship Sponsored by Lott Law Firm

Value: $1,000.00
Awards Available: 1

Matthew Lott, an attorney, initially embarked on his professional journey as a defense attorney for large corporations and occasionally cities, dealing with cases related to defective products, unsafe premises, and other personal injury claims. However, he soon realized his true passion lay in serving individuals and their families. This led him to establish his own law firm, focusing on family and personal injury cases in the Gulf Coast region, as a means to contribute positively to his community.

In line with his commitment to community service, he introduced the Selfless Act of Giving Scholarship. This scholarship, worth $1,000, is designed to reward a student who has demonstrated a commitment to their community. Applicants are required to submit an essay detailing their volunteer work, its impact on the community, the organization, and their personal growth. The aim of this scholarship is to inspire students to actively participate in community service, reinforcing the belief that no act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.
