The Women’s Southern Golf Association has established a scholarship fund to assist deserving female golfers residing in the 15 southern states and the District of Columbia to obtain four years of higher education.This year a scholarship of $3,500 will be available along with a commitment of $3,500 for each of the three succeeding years of undergraduate school, not to exceed a total of four years. Applications for all graduate and undergraduate SETC scholarships are accepted from Jan. 15 to April 15, annually. Winning scholars are announced by June 30 and invited to attend the following year’s SETC Convention with registration and membership fees waived. The Bird Dog Foundation's Annual Youth Art Contest for grades K-12 is held each year and has become very popular with local students. The program is available for students of schools or home schools that are within a 75 mile radius of the National Bird Dog Museum in Grand Junction, TN.
